WHAT IS A THIN SECTION BEARING AND HOW DOES IT REDUCE COST?

Thin Section Ball Bearings were developed for applications where space limitations are of the utmost importance.

As the name implies, the difference between the inside and outside diameters of the rings has been minimized or thinned out.

6700 Series – Metric dimensional series for very limited space applications and very light loads

6800 Series – Metric dimensional series for limited space applications and light loads

63800 Series – A hybrid between the 6800 and 6900 Series with the load capacities of the 6800 series but the width of the 6900 series.

6900 Series – Metric dimensional series for limited space applications and heavier loads

1.WHY DO THE BEARINGS I RECEIVE HAVE SHAKING?

The clearance of the bearing is related to the play.
The default is the standard C0 clearance, which is usually 3-18um.
The corresponding principle is shown in the figure below.

2. DO I STILL NEED DO ADD GREASE TO THE BEARINGS?

Grease does not need to be added extra Because the bearings are pre-filled with grease at the factory.

3. WHY DO STAINLESS STEEL BEARINGS CAN BE SUCKED UP WITH MAGNETS?

Standard bearings are made of chrome steel. For special environments, stainless steel bearings are used.
Commonly used stainless steel materials are 440C, 420, 304, 316.
Except that 316 is non-magnetic material, Other stainless steel materials will have weak magnetic,
