Because it has a layer of plastic on the outside, which is known to crack easily. This can cause your fuel pressure to drop, leaving you stranded in the middle of nowhere.

-The billet aluminum shell is durable and can withstand long-term use without deformation or damage.

-The filter element can be completely washed, making it a lifetime filter. The last you’ll ever need.

-It contains a huge 35 micron stainless steel element that can filter smaller particles compared to the stock 40 micron filter.

-The stainless steel filter can effectively filter out contaminants and other impurities in the fuel.
